I appreciate that it is less sodium than regular or sea salt. But it is just too much of a dried, ground grass texture, and flavor of salty green tea leaves. Just being honest for my taste buds. The foods I have tried it with are scrambled eggs and in soups.

Interestingly, we have Salicornia growing along our shoreline and use it fresh in season as an addition to soups, salads, etc. It's great to have a year-round source for dried! We love the product and use it daily--especially good on buttered or avocado toast, soups, and fresh tomatoes. So pleased to discover this some years ago, happily using it since. Great product!

This was my first experience with Green Salt and there were several qualities about it that were unexpected: I didn't expect the texture to be more powder-like than granular like table salt; or that it doesn't dissolve in water or food like table salt; or that the umami flavor is at least equal to the salty flavor.
But once I viewed Green Salt as a unique seasoning that also lends a low sodium saltiness to food, I found it very useful and delicious!
I've now used Green Salt as a seasoning for all kinds of dishes - vegetables, grains, casseroles, etc.. I am a vegetarian/vegan cook and find it adds a great flavor quality whether used alone or in combination with almost any other seasoning. It has been especially helpful in adding a boost of flavor when I have to cook for people without using onion or garlic (which, surprisingly, happens quite a lot!)
I have already recommended it to many friends, especially those who need low sodium or have issues with garlic/onions - or just want a fresh new flavor!

I love my Green Salt! Being addicted as I am to Amish Popcorn, Green Salt works to help me stay away from kidney killers sodium & potassium. We thought it might be the responsible and healthy thing to do, but that faded quickly. The flavor was tough to get used to for us, as my wife used no salt and I use very little sea salt! So, it sits in the camper cabinet, partially used, probably never to be used again!

I think it would be great if you made a green salt product that had a healthier balance of sodium chloride vs. potassium chloride. Right now, we use a mix I make up that's 1/3 regular table salt, 1/3 "nu" salt (potassium chloride), and then 1/3 your green salt. Me and my Dr. think using this blend will keep me from developing high blood pressure. Your thoughts?

I love this product. However, my only quibble is that I had purchased two orders of Green Salt due to inadvertently hitting the wrong key. When I only meant to order one. At the time of my order, Green Salt was on sale, after realizing my error. I contacted Green Salt and told of my mistake. They credited my account and canceled my erroneous error. However, I was billed for the full price rather than the advertised discount. A small thing, but disconcerting, nevertheless. Besides that, I do appreciate this product.

Other than it seeming like it took forever to get here (but, it WAS Christmas/Hanakah card and present time), and I REALLY wanted an acceptable salty taste ASAP, I am impressed. Green Salt is quite good on vegetables and hard boiled eggs. The heart failure clinic isn't as impressed as I am, but hopefully, my weight loss, lack of swelling, and the ability to stick to a low sodium diet will make them realize it's an acceptable alternative to "real" salt.

I have several medical conditions which require that I limit my salt intake, so I tried Green salt. What I found was that it was a fantastic addition to my spice pantry. It not only adds a saltines, but also a umami savoriness to whatever I’m cooking. Whenever I fry something instead of adding regular salt, I use a good portion of Green salt and it really enhances the flavor of whatever I’ve cooked.

I love Green Salt, especially that it's low in sodium and good for us. The only thing is that it sometimes makes food a little green or some darker. But I still use it on most all my foods. Sometimes it looks like pepper on my potato (or any food that pepper could go on) which makes it more appealing since I don't use pepper. I've used Green Salt for a couple of years now. Although there is some salt available that is safe to consume, too much can cause health issues. I avoided all salt for almost 5 years.
