I have been using Green Salt now for some time, and I can tell you that I LOVE it. My Dr has told me to cut down on salt, and with the green salt, I do not need to worry about it. I can have my food taste the way I want it without worrying about the amount of salt I take in.
That is an A+ on my grade card. I now can use the green salt, and not have to worry about the amount. It is really good tasting, and you know that we all tend to get more salt than we should. I was surprised that the "salt" was in such a fine powder. Transferring it to another container produced an unexpected "dust cloud". It does take a bit to get use to but the taste is great and I'm looking forward to using it as a positive alternative.

We've been Green Salt users for 3 years. The taste is really just like salt, and we use it in all of our food -- raw items (salad dressings, dips, etc) as well as cooked dishes. (I haven't used in Baking -- yet -- only because I'm not sure that some of the chemical processes you want to happen in baking will work.) Neither myself not my hisband have a salt reduction mandate, and we'd prefer not to! So usning this is a great way to go. Just try it!

I appreciate that it is less sodium than regular or sea salt. But it is just too much of a dried, ground grass texture, and flavor of salty green tea leaves. Just being honest for my taste buds. The foods I have tried it with are scrambled eggs and in soups.

Interestingly, we have Salicornia growing along our shoreline and use it fresh in season as an addition to soups, salads, etc. It's great to have a year-round source for dried! We love the product and use it daily--especially good on buttered or avocado toast, soups, and fresh tomatoes. So pleased to discover this some years ago, happily using it since. Great product!

This was my first experience with Green Salt and there were several qualities about it that were unexpected: I didn't expect the texture to be more powder-like than granular like table salt; or that it doesn't dissolve in water or food like table salt; or that the umami flavor is at least equal to the salty flavor.
But once I viewed Green Salt as a unique seasoning that also lends a low sodium saltiness to food, I found it very useful and delicious!
I've now used Green Salt as a seasoning for all kinds of dishes - vegetables, grains, casseroles, etc.. I am a vegetarian/vegan cook and find it adds a great flavor quality whether used alone or in combination with almost any other seasoning. It has been especially helpful in adding a boost of flavor when I have to cook for people without using onion or garlic (which, surprisingly, happens quite a lot!)
I have already recommended it to many friends, especially those who need low sodium or have issues with garlic/onions - or just want a fresh new flavor!

We thought it might be the responsible and healthy thing to do, but that faded quickly. The flavor was tough to get used to for us, as my wife used no salt and I use very little sea salt! So, it sits in the camper cabinet, partially used, probably never to be used again!

I think it would be great if you made a green salt product that had a healthier balance of sodium chloride vs. potassium chloride. Right now, we use a mix I make up that's 1/3 regular table salt, 1/3 "nu" salt (potassium chloride), and then 1/3 your green salt. Me and my Dr. think using this blend will keep me from developing high blood pressure. Your thoughts?

I love this product. However, my only quibble is that I had purchased two orders of Green Salt due to inadvertently hitting the wrong key. When I only meant to order one. At the time of my order, Green Salt was on sale, after realizing my error. I contacted Green Salt and told of my mistake. They credited my account and canceled my erroneous error. However, I was billed for the full price rather than the advertised discount. A small thing, but disconcerting, nevertheless. Besides that, I do appreciate this product.
